how many of you have had overheating problems with console and what's your alternative solution to cool down xbox360 durning the play?

what is the best firmware for xbox360 to use only for offline play, that means no connection to live at all?

is spring update required for some games, or will be updates required for proper playing or playing games at all in near future...? your opinion because its only speculation
