Well, it's out... It rocks as usually.
I don't know wether it was me, or some typing mistakes, but I've noticed some problems during activation...
Activated as usual, by phone, without net connection. It was accepted, "thank you for activating etc..."
When using liveupdate, it failed to get the virus definition list, due to "your subscrition has expired, your trial period is over"
NAV 2k5, locked, reactivated the product the same way and now it works, but noticed, that the activation key was different than the first one. (the phone reg code was the same)
If anyone notices this problem, just post it here...
By the way NAV2005 rox.
Nice release,
Greetings

BARCODE included this activation keygen (tmg-nsw2004pro.exe) in their release which is TMG's NSW2004Pro activation keygen. That could be the reason why the activation thing is not working properly as reported. I don't know myself cos I haven't tried it out yet...

The activation thingy works fine with keygen and all, but upon reboot you get the 'Not activated' message, no matter how many times you activate it.
So I would say the nuke is legit.

Just can't wait to see TMG's reaction about this.

I love this software. It's the best antivirus IMO.

But WHY with NAV 2005 this DOESN'T happen?

luizmp wrote: | But WHY with NAV 2005 this DOESN'T happen? |
The possible reason could be PHXISO release of NAV2005 came with a new TMG's NAV2005 keygen while BARCODE's release of NSW2005 and NIS2005 came with an old TMG's 2004 keygen. That could be the reason why...

Exactly. I assume it never gave them any error during the activation process (which it doesn't) so I guess they thought that it was working (the 2k4 keygen, that is). So, NIS2005 with a 2k4 keygen is a no-go, while the NAV2005 release from both PHXiSO and TMG (Hi, Intern!) seems to be working (with a 2k5 keygen).
Anyway, due to the installation problems I had with NIS I simply didn't give a fvck about it and chose other (actually IMO better) products, such as the Kerio Personal Firewall. I can recommend it.

Yeah well, does NIS2005 work in combination with the new TMG keygen?

Is it possible to keep NSW 2004 and just install the Phxiso release of NAV 2005? After all it is only the yearly updates of NAV 2004 which expires in NSW 2004. Hope that makes sense!
TIA for any info.

What expiration dates have peeps got from instaiing the phixiso rls.? One machine gave me exactly 1 year(this was a fist time install of any norton product)...my two other machines (which i had removed NAV 2003 with the 100yr activation crack) gave me 2011 and 2012. that's very interesting....anyone else have a similar experience? scratch that...upon reboot it was reset back to 1 year. My other systems which i uninstalled my cracked (2116) norton 2003 still have 10 years however...so, if you want 10 years, it lookslike you have to install norton 2003-crack it-uninstall it-install 2005--anyone else wanna tryto verify this?
