Players will assume the identity of Ethan Thomas, former Serial Crimes Unit investigator, who has been called back to duty to track down his missing partner. The disturbing events from Ethan’s past have left him a broken man – a desperate burnout drifting aimlessly through society in an inexplicable decline. Fighting inner demons throughout his one-man investigation into a sinister conspiracy, Ethan will need to use anything and everything in the environment to survive as he unravels the mysteries shrouding the city in darkness.

As Ethan, players will engage in visceral combat using a variety of firearms, blunt instruments and an all-new fighting system complete with defensive and offensive combo chains, as well as grapples and holds. To help track the killer and solve the mysteries behind Condemned 2: Bloodshot, players will crack open an all-new set of high-tech forensic tools. Using wits and brute strength, murders can be solved a number of different ways to keep players guessing throughout each suspenseful investigation.

I thought condemned was very repetitive and uninspiering. Didn´t even finnish it. The settings were too similar and the gameplay itself just werent very fresh after an hour.

Maybe this one is better.

Woah those are some fucked up screens and I didnt know they were working on a sequel! I really enjoyed the original game even though the attack/block gameplay combat was a bit repetitive! Still a great game and I have high expectations for this one.

Yeah, really enjoyed the original. Especially how valuable it made guns feel, you didn't have 1000 clips in your backpack or some shit.

Nailbiter, I'd like to see you name any FPS that isn't repetitive to some degree.

I loved the first game. Best 5.1 audio in any game to date in my opinion. The audio alone makes the game worth playing.

Aha! I knew someone would bring up fps! Razz

True, many of them are repetitive, but as you yourself say; to some degree. Some are better while others are not.

There was just something very sedative with condemned. It got boring, while a good fps knows the importance of keeping the action fresh.

Tetris is pretty repetitive as well, but many seem to like addictive gameplay.

dude you did you know that a US game can have GORE but if they show any naked Ass , tit or sex its get baned Razz , But in Europe is like this you can have sex in games but if you show to much gore the game will be banned

Manhunt 2 has gore and sex scenes so they banned it world wide - stupid censure system

Thats bullshit. there is more blood and gore allowed in the EU as a whole. The difference here is that the manhunt games are a little bit over the top. It's ok to kill someone in a video game by smacking them in the face with a piece of 2x2 with a nail through it...but suffocating someone with a plastic bag in a game is not on! Razz

Added to that the fact that a kid who played manhunt almost religiously along with other brutally violent games has just been convicted of murdering a nurse by stabbing her over 70 times. They have to be seen to be doing something, which is why this particular game has been pulled. As far as I'm aware Rockstar are appealing this, so i'd expect that the ban will be lifted in the near future. Manhunt was shit anyway, who really cares?

That is true, Europe is more liberal when it comes to nudity/sex. However we are stricter with violence here than in the US in general.

Trailer up now. Looks f'ing badass. Story aspect(which was def the weakest aspect of orig) seems like it might be a tad better this time around, main character reminds me of M Sheen's character from Apocalypse Now. Esp enjoyed the part of the trailer at about 1:30 where he sucker-punches some bitch in the face Looks like monolith is paying the ESRB no mind whatsoever, and unlike r* who seems to invite negativity publicity, likes to stay under the radar which is great.
