Rob Weir states that the 325-paged OOXML specification for spreadsheats formula formation is full of bugs, starting with basic trigonometry functions which are forgetting to specify units and ending with statistics as well as financial functions. everything has problems.
specs don't contain correct formulas which you could be using at interactive way.
