In windows xp you have a option that you can boot from you xp cd and then repair xp by copying all the original files over the ones on the harddrive. My question is this : Do you have the same option in Vista. And if so where is it. Cause i can't find it when i boot of the vista dvd.

I think that's part of Startup Repair, that's one of the options when you boot from the DVD.
I'm not sure it it will restore to original file or only checks if the files are legit microsoft files, including updates.

I hear mkfs solves your VISTA-problems real good.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Click "Repair" after booing the DVD, and select what you want to repair. This is better, because you don't waste time on repairing everything.
And dominae, you can't enjoy Vista with a gay-ass PC, sorry.

I'm getting more out of my rig with Vista, and so are all those who have tried it.

How? Vista is optimized for multi-core systems, and it does indeed run faster than XP (not the games, that's the drivers).

I need to replace all the files cause some of the files where deleted by because they where infected. And now vista crashes like a win 95. I tryed to restore but that diden't help.
A'l i want is the option which you have in xp when you start from the cd where you can replace all the files with the ones on the cd.
