Ok. So i figured after transformers thundercats had to be next but i really dont see how they will be able to make it decent in any way at all in live action or otherwise.
Anyone know anything about it? Its due for release 2010 according to IMDB
Warner Bros. Pictures has optioned a script by Paul Sopocy to turn the popular 1983 animated series "Thundercats" into a live action feature reports Variety.
The original series story revolves around a group of humanoid cats who must flee their planet of Thundera after it's destroyed. Once crash-landing on another planet, Third Earth, they must thwart Mumm-Ra, an evil sorcerer, bent on killing them off.
Sopocy's script is described as an origin story expanding on the major heroes and villains from the animated series, with the plot focusing on Lion-O coming of age as the leader of the Thundercats.
The news comes just weeks after it was announced the studio was also finally moving ahead with a live-action adaptation of other 80's cartoon smash "He-Man".
yeah thundercats are cool, and im dreading this naturally... but im more concerned with whats going to happen with the live action voltron movie

problem with that is people often look at whose in the movie before they look a what the movie is about.. hence a never ending vicious cycle of tom cruise movies
