hi everyone , i reinstalled TDU today , installed the patch , copied over the hatred crack ...
then i got from gamecopyworld a savegame that gives most cars etc.. so i dont have to start from scratch , i load into the game , set my settings , select continue game .. i pick a car to take for a drive , all working great , then when i load the map i get an error saying "lost connection to network" and then it ends the game .
this isnt a gamespy enabled account , and i am pretty sure i wasnt playing online or anything , so no clue what could be the matter ....

i'm another guy with this same problem. there's something wrong with crack.

Yep crack needs fixing, I too installed the game, patched to 1.66a copied over crack, made offline profile, and when I play the first mission for the race (after buying your first house) the race does not start after clicking start, all the options on screen are then greyed out, but you can exit the game via "ecscape" OK.
So that tells me maybe the crack is fucked.

If you just want to get the new cars install the patch and use the old crack (1.45)

I think i've cracked this race not starting thing.Besides the 1.66 fixed exe you still need the files in the subdir that came with the retail fixed exe, worked for me at least

Hi, yeah I sorted the same thing out also few hours a ago, the vitality v1.0 proper crack included a folder for the gamedir/euro/bnk/ige/ etc.. now it works with these present.. the crack works fine now, they should of included this info though in the nfo, but at least now it works fine anyway!
Wont be buying the game though, not my cup of tea, its hardly a "flashpoint" or "arma" of driving games... console console...
