I am trying to decide what torrent client to use, i have read that some clients put more strain on the system than others so i am trying to find a good client that doesnt access the hard disk so much.

I have used utorrent for a long time and it works fine but i have no idea about how my hard disks are treated by it. Right now i am also using the Azureus which has a statistics window where i can see how many I/O reads and I/O writes that is done either from file or from cache and i seem to have alot of I/O reads from file for some reason.

I have set the cache to 32 mb which i think is a good number (default is 4).

Anyway, i would like to monitor my hard disks to see which client i want. Anyone know of such a program?

Dunno for your hard drive monitoring app, but AFAIR bitcomet had a nice cache system for the disk.

cf. http://wiki.bitcomet.com/help/BitComet_FAQ#What_is_Disk_Cache_in_BitComet.3F
