What's the best method to clean my ps3?
Is it safe to somehow remove the casing and then hoover all the dust up?
As i bet mine is really dusty inside.
Could do with a damn good clean.
Any tips?

Thanks Smile

Well, canned air is what I use ('Kenair Air Duster'] and one of those little usb vacuums.

Good idea to get that puppy cleaned, I lost my launch phat to dust Sad

ps: do NOT carry out the fan test.

Reading the net now and alot of reply s are saying do not use a can of air because it spays tinny partials of water inside the ps3?
And is it possible to open these ps3s?

Yeah people who don't know how to use the canned air angle the can, just keep it level and you'll be fine (practice a few times) or just use vacuum if you are concerned.

Quote:
If the can is held upside down, then its contents are expelled as a liquid. This liquid evaporates very quickly at standard temperature and pressure, chilling anything in contact with it.

thinking about it:
I wouldn't go opening your ps3 if you haven't opened consoles before, just give it a quick blast of air and vacuum the vents on low.
