Launched yesterday, this rover is the first mars rover that has as a main mission to search for life on that planet, after two or three photos that the oppurtunity rover took in late 2004, in wich some rocks seemed to have fossilized remnants of microscopic life, and after strong evidence that there are underground rivers flowing on mars, nasa invested in sending a robot to dig and search for mars. we can very well find no evidence of life, but if we find life there, it may very well be a little more evolved than microscopic life, we can very well find sea-life in mars, and if we do, what do you think the curch's position will be towards that discover? if life is discovered in mars, it would mean that it has developed twice in one star system, it will be proven without a doubt that life will indeed develop everywhere where it can find liquid water, and then we would know that our galaxy has millions and millions of planets steeming with life.

After the fits of apoplexy have passed I suppose they'll have to re-edit the bible again. Either that or they call in the Inquisition on those heretics in NASA.
