No, it means general release. That was quite a jump there, me thinks you must have something on your mind.

The armor is called protection of property. When you're paying someone $100,000,000.00 to play, I am sure the last thing you want to see is for them to get hurt and not be able to perform.
I love Rugby. I love american football too. Love Australian football most of all I would guess. Having played both, rugby is rough. But don't sit there at your computer thinking American Football is so easy. Till you strap up and get on a field with them yourself.
And for the record, I have yet to find a sport that outdoes collegiate wrestling in terms of difficulty and the requirements of being "in shape".

tbh, i like american football, i like rugby too, played rugby in the past. but rugby players dont care about protection of property, and they get paid to play, just like footballers (soccer players for all you useless motherfuckers) get thousands to play and they sometimes play rough.
so you like college wrestling then? like grappling with semi-nekkid guys?

Australia yeah, but also the US and Singapore. Others too butthose are the main ones I know. In the UK would be a U (universal).
EDIT:// The covers an Aussie one BTW from the looks of the logo if thats what you wanted to know.

Tackling in American football is different from tackling in rugby. Rugby players are not allowed to go for the head or take the opposing player down in a way that doesn't involve wrapping arms around him. Also, the added padding has ironically resulted in defenders going for more violent tackles that you'd never see in a rugby game, mainly because the padding keeps the defender from hurting himself with the force of the collision. Tackles that would kill or cripple an unprotected man are fairly common in American football.
Oh, and BTW, padding is becoming pretty common in rugby as well, even if it's not as comprehensive as padding in American football.

It's more of a fight really. Most fights (street fights) end up on the ground.
Wrestling, apart from UFC and Pride, is one of the best sports in existance in my personal oppinion. Make fun of it all you want... go fight a wreslter and tell me how that goes. I remember when UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships) was getting owned by wrestelers and Jiu-Jitsu guys because people like you didn't think much of it... till they started leaving the ring unconcious from being choked and having their arms and legs broken.

I totally agree with you on that. problem is though you need to finish a streetfight standing up if possible because, from my experience, you uslally end up fighting more than one opponent in a streetfight. go to ground and the other one or more play football(read soccer) with your head.
ive been doing a lot of cross training recently(normally im a Wing Chun fighter) as Im going to enter a local MMA comp soon. so Ive been learning some wrestling and defence against shooters. yeah you are right, its bloody tough against good wrestlers.
back OT,screens of this gmae look ok. anyone played it yet?

read the PS2 review of it over at IGN
The best part of the review was
"If you're a sucker for punishment, you'll love the elite level difficulty setting, which seems much harder than in previous versions (in Rugby 2006 even the elite level became easy to overcome, but not this year)"
Because thats why i stopped playing the last one.. it was far 2 easy
For the record
IGN review 8.7/10
