A customer of mine doesnt know his log on password for Windows Vista. He didnt make a reset password disc. The machine is a Packard Bell and he got it with everything preloaded so he has no recovery, restore or operating system disc. Any ideas how the password can be removed or recovered in this situation? And if not what is the best course of action?

Nice one thanks! Good app but the demo is no use to me Wink

Found Windows Key Enterprise on Usenet. Hopefully that will do the trick!

Edit: The one I got on Usenet was version 7.9. The new one that I got the demo of is version 8.0. I got a message that it doesnt recognise the version of Windows but it gave me the option to process as Windows XP which I did even though it is required for a Vista operating system! Anyway it worked! lol. It removed the account password! Smile

Thanks for the suggestion Very Happy
