PES gets next-gen on the PC before FIFA. Even though I've been a FIFA fan since FIFA International Soccer, the last editions just didn't cut it from me and I am all over PES6. The fact that we get it as next-gen on the PC while EA keeps using the same damn engine and calls selecting the goalkeeper and scratching out the number 7 while putting an 8 there a new game, even this year, while they knew about Konami's plans, well, that's a no-brainer even for the most hardcore fans like I once was, ain't it?
P.S. Correct your post, there's a colon after blogspot.com.

Yeah... i was a fifa fan until i played pes4, for me PES is the best, but i still like fifa games.
But this year EA was just dumb. I dont know why they are making a pc version...really, another PS2 port? lol WTF...
Thanks for the warning, post corrected.

I get all excited for each and every FIFA game, and there's a little feature here and another there that keeps you excited at the start. But when the shots are the same over and over again, all the goalkeeper animations are the same over and over again, I guess you've exhausted all that FIFA has to give in the first 5-10 matches. Even the manual header positioning I loved in FIFA 07, I mastered in PES 6 after much practice. I just didn't know it was there, because it wasn't put with a 24pt font on the back of the box listed under "Features". For FIFA, it's a "special new feature". For PES, it's a "core gameplay mechanism".
Unless EA goes next-gen with the next installment (I won't even bother with 08 as it has the same graphics engine and all the new features are already in PES' gameplay engine), I won't really even bother to go as far as to download the demo.

it is right from the konami website ... PS3.0 is recommended, not required ... so this thing must be designed to run on a wide range of systems I guess ....

READ -> UNDERSTAND -> POST
...
GeForce MX don't have any Pixelshader support
GeForce 3 & 4 have Pixelshader 1.0
Radeon 8500 has Pixelshader 1.1
Radeon X800 (as mentioned above) has Pixelshader 2.
And Pixelshader 3.0 is RECOMMENDED not REQUIRED!
So for all the eyecandy you'll need atleast an X1600 oder 6800.
