|
 |
Hi,
Just throwing this out there: I'm going to need to ghost a dev station, more as a mold than as a backup for that particular station. In other words, I need to ghost the thing without drivers
(or with their defaults,) but with software, so that a different system with a different config can auto-update its drivers, and have the software pre-installed. This'll be for dev station hardware and I'll most likely be using Norton Ghost.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Reinstall it without installing any drivers, install software, make your image and there you go...
No idea how you would ghost an existing installation and skip the drivers.
On the other hand you could of course create an automated install cd that installs some default software and stuff (pretty easy if you're on Windows).
Behold his GLORY! Bow for the technical master!
