Thinking about upgrading to vista and I am wondering what the state of warez + vista is... I heard that it was going to make things much more difficult. Since I am too lazy to look around for an answer, I am sure someone can fill me in.

Well, I have vista and have no issiues playing downloaded games (New and old bar some incommpatabilities) , All my Xvids play fine plus you can of course install FFDShow/AC3Filter etc... I can also play all my downloaded music and use apps also so I dont think theres a problem, for some stuff you must "Run as Admininstrater" for it to work ie some cracks but you'll get used to it fairly quicky, So to sum up, no, no probs with warez in vista Wink

Have you tried out any of the warez versions of vista? Or maybe someone has heard if they are reliable...

Well, I bought Vista Premium (OEM version is only €100 and your guaranteed updates) but I think theres a bios emulator hack which suposidly fakes your machines bios to be a sony, dell or whatever and you can use a oem copy perfectly, not sure if it still works but your best bet would be to check the operating systems forums here, I read a topic not so long ago about these things there

Lookout for NoPe Rlses. They are fully cracked.
U dont need to do anything just install.
And its validated like yoyoxp's is.
Vista is more cracked then xp ever was.

All updates download and install without problems.

Can you prevent it from auto updating? I got really burned by that "Genuine Widows Advantage" bullshit from an auto update on XP.

Why stop it from updating? The current cracks are making it legit and all patches work.

Read my guide for Vista: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31332

Yeah XP udpated fine too until one of the updates installed that damn Windows Genuine Advantage bullshit. I'd prefer to keep it firewalled (possible even?) so once the updates are released I can read what it fixes (or breaks as the case may be) before installing it. God I was there was an opensource gaming platform.

I have now been using Vista x64 for the last 2 months & have had little to no problems running the games on my pc with cd cracks etc.... The only game to date that I was unable to run stable & this was a legit copy is Dark Messiah of might & magic which UBISOFT (douche bags) discontinued supporiting the game & updating after 6 months of the release. Mother fuckers instead are making another game for X-box 360 after using the pc community as guinea pigs.

Funny thing, I used one of the first timestoppers, and my timer isn't still running anywhere, I've installed both "reliability fixes" in addition to everything from Windows Update

After this happend u neede to go in save-modes
To put in the validation crack.
Before this we could patch in normal-modes.
