that's a damn nice pic even if it wasn't from a cellphone. Is that the highest quality it gets or did you have to tone it down to post it

the depth of field is usually better than this when im taking a Macro image...which this is not the case.

its full 3.2mpx images usually arent that good,when you minimize them to 1600 and smaller they get better ( Razz )
I also have digicam,but I dont really like to carry it all the time....

You didn't notice the blue edges, the noise, the jagged lines, a bit of blurring at the details? It's good for a phone, but not for a dedicated camera.

Aren't the blue edges because of overexposure? Not all dedicated cameras can control exposure.

I wonder why phones cant really take images with the same 1:1 quality like a dedicated digicam.... Confused

Well, size, for starters, plus high quality lenses and CCDs (or whatever they are called) cost a lot (A LOT) of money.

@FreeDiver
There are some great sites out there for photographs. I would suggest you visit some of them. There are some strict rules so I hear and it might be good for you to follow them. I have a friend into this. His camera is super expensive and he is quite technical. From what I understood it took him a long time before he did anything that was considered quality. Best of luck.

Ahhh cool! Good Luck there Smile

As for the picture: There's a nice feeling of the calculator's depth and volume, the book's text adds to the atmosphere of study... So it came out pretty well if that's what you were looking for.
