 |
I recently bought a wii and i want to play some old snes games.
I wonder if you can download the virtual console for free some where. And if its possible to just copy roms from my pc on the SD card and play them on the wii?
Also, do you really need the wii lan adapter to browse the internet? Because my sohoware lan card isn't working on the wii.
Thanks

I think you have to buy the games.. Dont think Virtual Consle has been cracked yet..
Also, the Wii has built in WiFi
Why dont you get it chipped with a WiiKey and just make a emulator disc? I have a DVD full of NES, SNES, Megadrive, Master System, PC Engine roms and Emus that the Chipped Wii reads. Theres also a N64 emu disc floating around.

i bought it yesterday. So no time to look in to the moddingscene :O.
I prefer wired over wireless. But i don't have a Wifi-router atm nor an official wii lan adapter : Stefan F wrote: | F"]wii has build in wi fi if you are able to connect to a hub .
Roms are saved internally on a 500mb ram card , if its full you are able to copy them onto an SD card , but its saved internally wether or not you are allowed to play them , as far as i know its not cracked yet and would require to flash your wii with some special hacked OS and what not .
i just play snes on my pc emu , if you got a gamepad it really looks better then playing on a normal tv , just my opinion |
lol, i also bought such a gamepad yesterday

One fucked up thing to look out for is that a lot of old games don't work if you run through a component cable.
Didn't even say anything about that on the Shop Channel.
