I have an extremely annoying problem in that whatever settings i try i can't successfully connect 2 hard drives together via one ide cable. I have tried changing the jumpers, cables and varrying them between master or slave but it just don't work. When they are both connected it says in the bios that neither of them are there or sometimes it will come up with a corrupt name for one of the drives. I have an abit nf7 v2.0 and i have a maxtor 120 GB and a nikimi 200GB they are fine separately but not together. Can anybody help me out here.

thanks Laughing

Made sure that the end of the ide cable is set in the master drive and the middle in the slave? I've done that a few times and it doesn't work the for some reason. At least for me.
