Hey all
I am wondering if anyone has had this problem.
I burned the -CCCLX rel with clone cd 1st at 8x and it boots but if u go to solo game or campaign it says game failed to load.
if you go to Forge or Theater the game loads ok.
So I thought it was cos i burned it at 8x, maybe too fast so i did another at 2.4x but I am having the same problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I am using a pal console with modified Sammy drive, all other games work fine.
Any hints or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

hi buddy
no i dont. just the hard drive on its own as it was supplied with the premium console.
any ideas?

Exactly the same issue here with SP mode... dont work "failed to load"
Im also PAL... the rest of the game is fine just cant start SP...
I tried snipers release... now DLin CCCLX to try that...

Shiskas release is working here without problems on a PAL machine.

I kicked the shit out of my box last night, smashed the case and a controller cos usually my drive gets stuck... turns out its not the drive.. oops...
This is proper pissin me off

strange the CCC** version works fine on my pal box.
but had to disconnected my xsata otherwise had same failure as you

i had the same problem (failed to load). also, i noticed that my controllre kept disconnecting(the wireless one), even tho its fully charged(only when in halo 3 menu). so i connected my wired one instead, and voila, the game started up.

tech section has the same thread and a solution - it's got to do with the xsata. check there.

I dont have XSATA. Any wired or wireless controller makes no difference...
Only thing that made any difference was it loaded further the Dirty Disk errors when there is no HDD or MC plugged in.
Im getting some Verbs now incase its the media but it shouldnt be all my other games are on these disks...

no probs with loading ssave game or wireless controller here on Shiskas release on Pal console, i'm on LV5 and turned of and on and loaded save afew times today with no troubles

shishka version works great right up till the 4th or fith chapter in the elevator, not far from the start of the game. then crashes saying disk not readble maby dirty try cleaning the restart, iv tryed burning it 3 times 2 diff types of media and same problem at the very same bit, anyone els?

Just clocked the shiska release. No problems at all on a PAL system using horribly cheap media.

I just played a nice 2h session with no problems in the game (got to the highway), then suddenly my xbox tells me i disconnected from XBL and should please update the console software. Is this telling me that I am going to get banned, or is this a standard update, as I read from other members on xbox-scene?

Maj Nelson just released a note about the update which will boot you from Xbox Live Service while signed in. It is an update for the big button controller for games that are being released this fall.
However, this makes me think that MS is up to something and they want to test their ban theory before the fall update to catch all the people with a nonlegit copy of Halo 3 prior to release.
I really doubt they are releasing 1 week prior to Halo 3 an update for this controller which does not come out for awhile.
I would stay off Xbox Live for a while guys, I think your pissing them off by playing Halo 3 while connected to Xbox Live, especially 1 week prior to release even if you have a legit copy/ with ixtreme mod, I would stay off.
Let the banhammer fall.......... and I am off live until I am for sure it is safe.
