I have reloaded too but im not sure if its reloaded crack that is bad or the game.
Anyway first i had voice problems and game stuck so i had to shut off sound accelator.
Now im in the middle of the game not so begining the hotel.
And every time now im doing something in the game im getting no voice then the game back to windows and im getting strange error msgs like critical error on the game then the game exit.
Each time diffrent error.
I cant keep playing.
Any idea if it reloaded problem or the game problems ?
Cuz if its reloaded ill download the clone version.

i have that with a few games every now and then. no need to reboot just hit "win+L" and re-logon....

There is a known issue with ATI video cards
Try this:
you can set a flag in the compat.ini file to fix this problem, The compat.ini file can be found in the installed game folder, within the system subfolder. Open the file up in notepad and change the m_bDisableFrameBuffering value from =0 to =1. Save the file, and run the game again as normal.

Im still in the hotel same bug i cant continue :
 Spoiler: | im in the hotel when im trying to put the pen under the door im getting strange noise no voice then the game exit to windows. and i did the DX accelator thing to off. no matters how many times i try the game crash to windows in this point in the game where i need to put/give the pen under the door of the cleaners in the hotel. |

I have the reloaded version.
Directx x latest video card drivers latest.
I shut off the DirectX sound accelator in DXDIAG>Sound
And still in the hotel in the place when you need to pass under the door of the cleaners room the pen and paper in this place the sound getting like brrrrrrrrrrrr like a mix .
No voice.
And after few seconds the game is quit back to windows sometimes just crash sometimes with an error msg .
Please help me .
Should i try to download and play the Clone version ( maybe reloaded crack is bad ? ) ? or is there any other solution ?

Do you also have the newest sound card drivers? What kind of sound card do you have?

I didnt check for latest drivers but i formated the pc about 10-14 days ago and installed latest drivers from the site of soundblaster.
Ill check the drivers again for the sound blaster.
Any other ideas what can ceause those bugs i have ? cuz i see many ppl got lot after me in the game.

I downloaded the Unleashed version, couldn't get securom to work with daemon or alcohol even with securom emulation on, so I downloaded the Reloaded crack. swapped it with the bs4pc.exe and it all works. However, there are bugs which I think are just in the game. I got a crash with a runtime C+ runtime error. And also they still didn't fix the ridiculously slow mouse and the sound cutting out which were present in the demo. They must have had monkeys testing this game.

I have same problem...game runs like shit on my Intel Pentium Prescot 2.8Ghz, 2 Gb ram, and 7800GS...does anybody knows why this might be the problem. I have integrated sound card on my Asus motherboard, its soundmax, and the latest audio drivers are realised on 2003 and are the same as the current one I have instaled.

Was wondering if someone has a solution to play this game with the 1.1 patch.
No crack is out and mounting the original ISO with deamon tools + YASU doesnt seem towork.
any help appreciated.

The unleashed clonedvd should work ... the RLD iso of course won't.
