I used to LOVE MMOs, and while I still try all the new ones coming out these days none of them have really interested me one bit during the last 2-3 years. They're either too much of a boring grind-fest or require far too much time to really learn and appreciate.

I think your talking about Second Life. I thnk second life is free, but to have anything in game you need to spend money.
I hate - the weird point and click MMO's that are basically just shitty versions of Diablo/Diablo2. They even have the 800x600 max res

i love all mmo's (well almost all) but i absolutely hate EVERYONE that plays em, the ultimate game for me would be a singleplayer game designed like a mmo with bots as companions instead of turds

I love what MMO COULD be, unfortunatly all game offer the same boring gameplay. (Move around a world, do crappy quests and click on toolbars buttons to use spells). At least there are some who differ like TDU.

I've played wow on and off since its release. At first it was the gameplay that hooked me but I can honestly say that the only thing that really keeps me playing is the social aspect. Would lose touch with alot of nice people if I just gave it up. Sad but true.
I will however definately dump it for Warhammer Online when it is released. WoW's developers don't seem to play the game anyways. Just follow the whim of the most played classes and dont care about the rest.
