So my last dentist messed up my root canal and now i have to remove a molar and get an implant
Anyone done this before, does the implant feel like the original tooth?

i got two gold crowns (or whatever you call partial false teeth) and those fit fine and feel just like real teeth to me, so i wouldnt worry too much i guess

Sadly, i need to have the whole molar removed and a titanium molar put in its place, which makes me very nervous

im sure they'll have you drugged up to the point you won't feel much, it's the after effects that will hurt.
But since they messed up don't they have to pay for everything?

Painkillers won't be a problem, i'm a pharmacist after all
As for the dentist who messed up, he was in another country, so i have to pay about 4000 egyptian pounds for the procedure

Ive had a couple root canals done in the last 6 months...didnt really hurt. The dentist gave me a few freezing needles and the gas and i was fine. It ached a bit afterward, but not to bad
I dont understand why people say it hurts so much. Gettng a cavity filled hurts way more imo

I already had a root canal, and it got messed up
This is supposed to be much worse than a root canal

It depends on how bad your condition is, the worse the tooth is, the deeper the dentist has to clean and the worse the pain gets.

my one tooth, the one right before your wisdom teeth, was black and blue...litterally. They scraped out all the dead and infected tooth, did the root canal, filled it up and that was it.
I got like 5 oxy's...i took em, but not because of pain

So, did it hurt like hell when you had it planted?

compubrain3000, I know a family member and a friend who have had entire tooth implants done, they are not "tough" by any means, and they said it was nothing.
