The Big Apple is under siege. Defend one of America's greatest cities from an
ever-growing number of terrorist threats in this SWAT saga penned by Hollywood
scriptwriter Scott Rosenbaum, one of the brains behind the acclaimed crime
drama The Shield. Step into the shoes of Kurt Wolfe as you lead his NYC SWAT
team in the PSP's only pure squad-based tactical shooter. Make intense
life-or-death decisions as you work to prevent a nuclear catastrophe. Target
Liberty carves out a unique space among shooters, because your success, skills,
and stats increase as you stay true to real-life SWAT tactics, including using
non-lethal maneuvers and eliminating random casualties.

Game seems decent, aiming is HORRIBLE though, half the time I try to target a suspect my guy whips around the other way and targets a civilian and I end up shooting him.

You have to hold L trigger, then hit their corresponding button to lock onto them. If you hit the wrong button you usually target a civilian, if you don't hit any button it auto targets...someone maybe the closest I cant tell 9 times outa 10 a civilian. If theres a lot of targets they use the D-pad directions to choose your target, and you have to fumble around trying to hit left/up/etc when your already controlling with analogue and trying to shoot with X before you die.

While all this is going on your trying to fire and most of your bullets are not going where you want them to. The only good thing is you can take alot of shots before you die and your teammates aim quickly, but this is just stupid, as most of the time my teammates do all the shooting while I fumble around aimlessly.

Game seems okay itself, only played the subway level so far but damn that aiming is so bad.

Total crap. Being shot at from OFF SCREEN all the time - wtf is that?! When you're going though a subway station you oviously see everything ahead of you (so you can spot enemies etc.) but no, the game doesn't let you! I had such big hopes about it and it turned out to be a piece of shit.
And yes, the aiming coupled with the abovementioned offscreen attacks is ridiculous. The game should at least go into pause mode during target selection (when L is pressed).

Comparing killzone to this... blasphemy! Smile KZ had a very good camera, I never had any offscreen shooting issues with it. KZ models are two-three times smaller than in SWAT so the scale is OK.

although i never finished killzone, id say it was definately a fun game, and very visually stunning.... but with this game, the magic 8-ball says all signs point to rubbish.
