That trailer thats been kicking around for ages is great and very funny! Im glad the single player is a proper campaign affair rather than just bots and spawn points!

This is the other game that I want as bad as I want GTA IV.

Okay. The game on single player isn't too good. You play a guy who looks a lot like Ben Stiller. It's just spoon feeding you objectives. It's a case of aim and kill. They seem to be blasting away at you and not killing you because your health doesn't diminish all that much.
The multiplayer is great even though I'm a PC FPS player it's taking me ages to get used to the controller. It's very BattleField 2. But the Frostbite engine is great. It's not as complex as BF2 but the unlocks are great. I went for the mortar on the support guy. Very effective if you're in cover. I was on this morning and I had no lag issues, but since then I'm lagging so much it's unplayable. I can't see the point of Specialist class. Absolutely pointless. Sniper is so so, but as in BF2 where you had Claymores. In BF:BC you have sensors which are crap. They basically tell you if someones near them regardless if you're 100 meters away or not. Support is good though, but it takes a load of rounds to kill something. It's just a shame you can't go prone.
In your base you have an artillery piece which is like BF:2 a top down view. But the servers are so full of morons they'll TK you for it even though it costs them points. Another point is when you're in shotgun position on a vehicle the screen shakes so much you couldn't hit a barn door standing on the latch.
I'm on the third rank but I didn't seem to get an unlock which was strange. Perhaps I wasn't eligible for one or maybe it's a bug. I didn't check to see if you started with a point but when I got my first promotion I got a point. When I checked I had two points, so maybe you start with a point. Although there is 25 unlocks and 25 ranks I think it's actually a bug.

It really sounds like they should delay the release to fix the issues, but since EA controls mostly everything it won't happen.

Not being able to go prone is a big no-no. It seems they wanted to make an accessible console-lite Battlefield experience but they forgot to take with them a lot of features and good things about that series. For example how is it possible for them to make helicopter control even worse on an analogue controller? What's that all about.
Lot of snipers running around in the demo - it feels like a free for all, very chaotic - but the engine is quite nice for the console and I think it looks worth a rent at the very least.

played the demo, IMO the single player game is nice, not COD4, but still nice.
Surely verb-worthy when the time would come.
