they should at least be a little more honest about it - "umm yea we got this thing called kinect coming out and we're expecting to pull in a whole new crowd. we figured this would be a great time to hike up the rate for the slew of new subscribers we're expecting."

pretty ridiculous that while everyone else is offering their services for free good ol' MS decided to go UP on the price instead of down. my sub expired in july and i'm pretty certain i'll be banned in the next wave for playing my crackdown 2 copy online. it's all good though, i'm done with live - it has lost its appeal to me.
soon as i get my jtag project finished i can't wait to play all those arcade titles and all that DLC for free. especially the assassins creed 2 DLC... what a fucking rip to leave a part of the game out just to charge for it later. if that's not a slap in the face i don't know what is.

In semi-related news a new controller has been introduced, apparently this fixes what is considered a large problem with the original in terms of precision with the D-Pad, my own opinion is that seems to be quite expensive at nearly 65$.

That is nice, but why the hell they didn't improve the controllers for the 360 ''Slim'' release? When you make redesign, make it at once, not piece by piece. -_-

So the "new" 360 controller is basically the old one but with the user-modded d-pad (Cutting the edges so the d-pad has more room)? Good ol' Microsoft.

The biggest fail in my opinion with the new 65$ controller is not even the price but the ridiculous coloring of the buttons which are white, grey and black... Seriously?
