Honestly this is the only series I like from EA. It must be a completely different team working on this game hehe. Is this one coming to the US?

The 08 version has a very ugly user interface, I remember the first fifa manager that was way better!

There are a lot of bugs in Football Manager 08, but due to the interface Fifa manager isn't even playable!

Lol, a football manager fan has made his opinion. Interface isn´t the best but game is great. Many improvement since last year. Go back to your text game nvanw99, it´s so amazing following your players in text and not 3D Wink

Actually, you can watch the matches in 2D. Wink Seriously though I actually think Football Manager is still the best football management game out there. However I was very dissapointed by FM08, pretty much FM07 but a step backwards. I will be giving FIFA a good try again this year, hopefully the match engine is better this year. The game otherwise is always fun, but I do wish it had the depth of FM and a bit more realism into the match engine. If they improved those things, it would seriously do a good battle with the FM series. Think SI games are getting too relaxed as they don't have much of competition.

Totally agree it needs FM:s depth but it´s getting pretty close this year i must say... Played about 20 matches and very impressed so far.. But some tweaking always needed.

The one thing I always liked about the FIFA managers was the interface, have they changed it or something? It's a nice, fun game in short bursts - but lacks the depth and believability that Sports Interactive's offering provides.
