I know people who do "pay per click ads" on their sites and the get a % of whatever someone bought of another site if that people linked from their page. His wasn't a warez site tho. More like a tell us your secrets site. Dating sites pay per click did well too for him. I don't remember him complaining about not getting paid tho.
Best money he could of made was a web site where he bad mouthed a used car dealer. The dealership totally screwed him over. He had it so his web site comes up first, ahead of the offical companies website. Their head office from sweden has been in contact with him and offered to buy it from him for $8,000. He documented everything that the used car lot did, including pictures. His new car while on transit was in an accident and they denied it. There was broken glass and bondo all over the inside of the car.

SpykeZ is right. Your site isn't so underground anymore and making money off warez is lame. Money for server cost tho are ok. We might change your name to T.L.

Only arseholes make cash from warez. Fuck off Drink or Die and Oink. No sympathy if you're caught. I hope you spend a long time behind bars.
Anything other than having your own copy is totally wrong in my opinion.
Having 100 people downloading a copy of a game is no problem in my opinion. Having 100 people and having some twat charging £5 for a copy each. Well I hope he's caught.

im not talking about making money off warez, im talking about making money from ads on a website with warez content, no downloads of any kind, just information.
also ive had a website that hosted games a looong time ago and the only requirement before you could start downloading was 'click here to vote' none of that pay me for someone elses work shit, thats illegal and i wouldnt put myself in that situation. anyway i only made 50bucks and it took 8 months to receive my check (thats what i get for being affiliated with porno)

Oink was a 180000 strong community with an average of over 1mil hits per day. Oink ran i believe in the end 3 or 4 top of the range servers running at max capacity. Now that costs ALOT of money, OiNK asked for donations. notice "asked" not demanded. All they were doing was covering their enormous server costs. And notice OiNK himself was not found to be living lavishly otherwise he would have probably been charged there an then.
Let me re-iterate, OiNK did not make money from warez, they ran their servers on charitable donations.

not exactly, Oink ran the servers with donations. i assume TL means TLeech, never had much dealings there so i wouldnt know. But let me just say, OiNK was quite the little community, and people were willing to donate to help keep the site alive, not because it gave them more to download. Not like these other sites where you can Donate for Extra giggage on your ratio.
