Anybody else can't wait for this game? I love the MGS series. Third one can't come soon enough.
Also new trailer out! http://www.gamershell.com/download_7124.shtml
Every trailer of the game makes me want to play the game even more. Every one has a plot point that I'm just dying to find out. See the end of this trailer and you'll know what I mean.

Ya i love MSG series, but the 2nd one was a bit boring due to no control, to much cinematics...
Hope it comes for xbox as well and not that crappy ps2 port they made for MGS2....

Is that revolver ocelots son or something.
I think he's going a bit over the top twirling those guns arounds for about 5 minutes, what does that prove? That he has too much spare time. lol.

Ah, I see, so you play as bigboss, not solid snake. They just look the same because snake was a clone of bigboss.
So after bigboss kills that women (the boss) he becomes the leader of FOXHOUND, but then why would he let revolver ocelot join if they were enemies?
LOL, that old guy near the end of the trailer called 'the end', she says he's dead until the right moment then he pops up with his sniper rifle. Sorry that sounds stupid.

when is this supposed to be released in the US anyways?
i know the JAP version is due out around november
i guess the jap version won't be subtitled tho? (since its a jap game, why would they sub it? .. :/ )
if it would be subbed i'd probably get the jap instead of english, the jap language has a lot more feeling to it somehow.

Just play the game to find out the whole story. You won't be able to figure out the whole plot just from the trailers. Plus we really don't know where the story is going (example-is that Raiden at the end of the trailer?) I just have a feeling that the trilogy is gonna go out with a bang.

The JAP version comes out in December. I think the US version is gonna come out in November or somewhere around there (like MGS2).
I like the US version voices. Mainly because of David Hayter as the voice of Snake.

I gotta disagree with you on that. I love the MGS series mainly because of their stories. I could watch game forever. For me the gameplay was just to get to the next part of the great story.

Don´t get me wrong there m8, i to love MGS series
One of the best story games out there, but if i would have a pick i would say MGS2 had to much cinema instead of actual gameplay, still the game is one of my favorites

I liked MGS2's story but it did get kinda out there at times. I think the third one should be good and should wrap up all the questions. It's the final MGS game (or so they say). Also I'm really doubting that it's taking place in the 60s. Or it goes from the 60s to the present.

Read this in the new PSM. I'll type it for you guys.
1. Snake is a clone....but who isn't?
Soild Snake is a clone. His "father" is his mentor and former commanding officer Big Boss, who appears to be the playable character for at least some of MGS3. Big Boss eventually turned traitor, and is the villain in the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Two other clones, Liquid and Solidus Snake, are enemies in both Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2. The narcoleptic genome soldiers are inferior clones as well.
2. The la-li-lu-le-lo = The Patriots = Bad MF's
Only two things are known about this shadowy secret society: one, they are puppet-masters, controlling entire governments from behind the scenes. Two: they're bastards. Another group called The Patriots is often mentioned, but the two groups seem to actually be the same.
3. Watch out for Ocelot
This flashy sharpshooter and Solid Snake have quite a history -- in the future. In Snake Eater, he already boasts incredible marksmanship, but hasn't yet adopted his trademark firearm -- until the character who appears to be Big Boss suggests it. He will later join a corrupt Big Boss and become a major villain in both MGS and MGS2.
4. Snake Eater is the first game in the series
Despite what look to be at least a few appearances by well-know series characters, at least some of Snake Eater takes place in the 60s, before any of the other games. Big Boss isn't cloned until the 1970s, and he won't commit 1995's takeover of Outer Heaven or 1999's intrigue in Znzibar Land for decades.
On the other hand, there's mounting evidence that the storyline may somehow involve time travel, so we could see "newer", more familiar characters showing up after all.
5. Gray Fox probably won't be there....sorry
The fan-favorite character Frank Yeager, aka Gray Fox, could have been alive back during the late 60s, when at least some of Snake Eater takes place. However, he would have been a child, FOX-HOUND hasn't been formed yet, he hasn't been killed yet, and he certainly hasn't been revived as a supremely bad-assed, half-sane, cyborg ninja. Damnit.
6. This could all be a big bunch of bull
Kojima's some kind of mad genius, and we wouldn't be surprised if everything released so far was just a smoke screen.

You can tranquilize animals and keep them in the cages. They will last longer. If you kill them, they spoil.
