Anyone else get this error right at the beginning of trying to setup:

"The windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed."

I'm running Win XP 64bit, with SP2. I reinstalled the service pack and still get the error.

prob wont help as you have re-installed the service pack.. but it cant hurt (hopefully) Smile

argh.....I already tried those....but just to be thorough I decided to go through them again.....and this time I found the little piece that said for 64 bit OS's, you have to rereg the executable twice....so now it works like a charm...heh
