Yea i never really cared much for worms, but for some odd reason i had the most fun with Worms 1, yes that would be the old dos version where each 'worm' was made out of a total 5 pixels wiggeling around, good old times...
well since then it just got worse, the 3d version of the games looks good but they have lost all of the good gameplay elements and with it the fun.
oh well, don't think i'm goind to get this, not even to 'just have it', it's too depressing..

yeah putting this game in 3d was an extremely horrible idea.
I miss old school worms, it was incredibly fun!
gotta love a game who pays hommage to monty python with a "holy handgrenade"

I tried the clone and I must say it was horrible. 2d edition was lots of fun, but the developers totally failed on this one.

i dream about a brand new 2d worms with photorealistic backgrounds and explosion effects.. new weapons... would be great! .. hate this 3d thing... I think it really looks childish this way...

Worms Blast forever tainted my view of the Worms universe. I used to have countless hours of fun playing the original Worms and some of the later releases. Games like Scorched Earth, too. Great stuff.
Then this shit they call a game comes out called Worms Blast and I thought I died and ended up in a hell created by Disney. What the bloody hell were they thinking? To this day, I still don't know. It's not that 3D killed it, it's the fact that they gayed it out and made it for preschool special ed tardbuckets to play.
And now we're cursed with Worms Forts. I thought I'd give it a chance, seeing how catapults and other explosives caught my attention. I should've at least checked out some screenshots first. But instead I waste a valueable 45 minutes downloading it (well... my computer wasted 45mins). Installed and go to play and it's even more cheesy and dumbed-down than Blast was. WHAT THE HOLY FUCK.
It's pretty sad when you take a game and totally destroy what was once a good series. These guys have gone a step further and totally mutilated its festering corpse.
But whatever, that's just my 2 cents.
