Ok... can someone calrify... is this a new expansion that has to be purchased or...?

I tried Eve a long time ago. Considering doing so again. Would be helpful if I had some people to help me get the hang of things in game. Hint.

So have they added stations that you can actually walk into and around in this version? Or did they just re-skin some stuff? Take it the real-time skill timer is still in? Sad

Now, now. Lets not generalize. Not "all" MMO games are for faggots.

WOW = faggots
Eve = Calculus professors or anyone who gets hot and heavy watching a timer count down.
City of Heroes/Villains = People into Cosplay (subjective judgment here on the faggotry).

I think that's a more accurate breakdown Very Happy

Back on topic - Master Juba, if you want I can give you my account. It has something like 9 million points on it (can't remember exactly). I managed to keep up my timer schedule for about a good week before I got bored of logging in, setting skill, logging out. If I remember right I have a Raven, but hadn't trained up the skill necessary for Cruise missles to use it yet. Can't recall how many credits (but enough to buy 4 more Ravens with I remember).

Got bored when my mission grinding outpaced the queer timer.
Let me know if you want it.

Well, if you don't mind, you could lend the account to me, I need something to lean my back onto when I've grown tired of playing call of duty 4, it's a pretty decent game, but I feel like I want something with more community.

I've been playing for about a year on and off... Yea, the skill training can get boring but I guess it's better than some games where you can go from level 1 to level 50 in a single weekend...

I'll take your Raven and credits (ISK) if you don't want them anymore... Smile

It appears that this latest update might cause problems with the Boot.INI file under Windows XP.

lol what the hell? how can something like that happen? that's ridiculous!

anyway.. I played eve online a few years ago for quite some time and it was pretty cool.
I'm thinking about continuing but I don't think I will before it's possible to run around on stations with characters that are more than just pictures. Can't wait for that addon, whenever it comes.

There is actually 2 patches...

The regular patch for users without high-end graphic cards and the regular patch and the premium graphic patch for users with high-end cards. The regular patch doesn't screw anything up but to correct the problem I just downloaded the complete premium graphic version of the game and reinstalled the game. The game works fine and not boot.ini problems...

Besides... Who installs games on their C: drive anymore? That is what second hard drives are for...

It's not the first time a company has screwed up the boot.ini. I forget which game series it is but when you uninstall sometimes it would take the boot.ini with. I think it was from EA can't remember ATM.

Re-learned the game and got back in the groove.

Quite an ingenious idea though isn't it? Play by not playing. Who would have thought you could make money off of that. Kinda like selling bottled water. To each his own heh.

Yes, quite the game. The world's first P2W (Play To Wait). It's a pity there isn't a better sci-fi MMO out there.
