|
 |
Guys,
I'm going to be having my teeth out soon, and I'm going to be on painkillers and bored out of my mind at home for a few days. Any suggestions on games I should queue myself up to play?

I should have put in the original post... games that are fairly easy to play, require little actual thought and just are a lot of fun.. while on painkillers

Just out of interest why are you going to be off school/work for a few days? I had mine out and went straight back to work.

You had all 4 wisdoms out and went right back to work? I've not really heard of that due to the fact they prescribe painkillers for the first couple days.
Well first of all, I work in a call center, so I'd be talking all day, and that kind of activity on my jaw will surely cause the stitches to come out.. I'd rather not be biting down on blood balls all week.

I've had two out at once and the pain was almost non-existant, but I know someone who's root had some kind of hook in it and the tooth had to be split into pieces before extraction and they were in a fair bit of pain for a day or two afterwards. Maybe it depends on what's done and how loose they already are..
Having four out at once is a bit dramatic tho, as is needing stiches so all the best to you, hope it's relatively painless..
Hack'n'slash sounds a good recommendation if you don't want the complexity of strategy games. Titan Quest + expansions is a good one if you haven't played it..

I had two wisdom teeth out , woke up one night to a huge blood clot in one of the holes which split open and nearly chocked me with blood... However i wasn't in pain so life was back to normal day after!

I do have my mythos account... Think Team Fortress 2 and CS: S would be too complicated? I'd probably get frustrated with quick deaths etc...
I thought about trying to play DotA, but everyone takes it so serious (and I do too).

I've never had wisdom teeth out but I've heard the horror stories and to be honest if you do feel pain I can't see you wanting to be on the computer in the first place. I know with regular toothache the last thing I want to do is play games, but maybe that's just me?

They're going to have me on perkaset (sp) and Tylenol 4... I'm gonna be pretty loopy and numb.. and I really hate TV. Last time I had surgery (to remove a tumor) I was on some painkillers and stuff, and all I did was play harvest moon for the playstation 1, lol.

Pray to god that your dentist is a pro in this. Mine took more than a hour on the upper one side. Lower one was split into halves. Four weeks later the other side upper and lower ones were my friends, too. Took around a hour of playtime.
If there is one thing I can tell you ... get enough coolingbags in the fridge and cool everything left and right down ... even when you go to sleep ... cool it down.

I work in a call center, and I talk all day long.
