ok i have a Hitachi - LG wich i tryed to update my firmware with.. for it to say it couldnt find the letter of the drive specified in my computer, the 360's dvd drive (I) to be correct.

then the pc hung and i had to restart, leaving me somehow with a bricked hitachi drive.

no heres the good part, and im not sure what this means.........But! even tho the drive wont physicly open anymore on the xbox 360 dash board it still lets you choose to open the tray or close it ( but still dosent physicly open) there are no indecation of any errors no red lights. just sometimes a rapid flashing green power led " not the circle flashing" just the little green power sign. is this fixable has anyone els had this problem... is it stuck in Mode-B?



like that but more steady maby slightley faster


ok new update:

used my credit card to open the trau manualy put a game in powerd up the consol, tray auto closed on its own, tryed to load the disk. wich now says" this game need to be in a 360 to play" or somthing like that. as if it isnt in one Smile
