The red spiral thing in the background while picking character stuff stutters and in game it stutters as the game goes.

7900GS KO Overclocked (tried unclocking it and didn't fix anything)

Windows XP PRO
All drivers updated. Tried disabling sound. Disabled sound acceleration. Tried using 1 core and it made it even worse. Ran the game on the lowest settings available. Also fully updated. Can't find anything on the forums cause Bioware is virtually useless.
it happened to me when i was forcing AA and AF in the catalyst control panel (i have ati X1950 XTX ) when i changed it back to "use application settings" in both AA and AF the stutering gone , i think there is something similar in nvidia (nhancer?)
heh, none of that was useful. Especially the first link since drivers from a year ago were being discussed and post # 5 had nothing to do with anything in it.
Game engine is fine. I played it 6 months ago and it runs fine on some old Pc like Athlon 2.1 GHZ 1 GB Ram and 7600 GS. Game was patched to some version but i don`t remember update number. I played on medium details in 1024x768.
It has to be something wrong on line Pc-NWN
No game engine is crap and its well know fact. I have c2d & 8800gtx and its stuttering. Same was when i had 6800 ultra and single core cpu. Go check NWN 2 forums. Or check video where dev is presenting NWN 2 expansion and is talking about issues with engine.
