im not sure if im becoming less interested in these games as time goes by, or if only the first lego star wars was actually any good.

see i LOVED the first one. i finished it and had a hell of a lot of fun doing it. it was charming, and actually pretty clever in its humor and presentation. was a brilliant lighthearted action game with fun levels and a neat little collecting mini-game in it.

but none of the subsequent lego games managed to hold my attention. i dont think ive ever managed to finish any of the others... not lego hp, not indy nor batman.

eh. i dunno.

still holding out for lego matix though. id play that Very Happy

pah. fine, put an r in it. all the cool people leave it the fuck out though Mad

Razz

they could totally do it though, i mean matRix is a wb property, and wb is totally down with this lego stuff, so whats the holdup? theres so much room for comedy in a lego version

the biggest surprise is no lego lotr though... im guessing theres a mile of rights issues involved in that case though..

The only lego game I finished was the first one aka Lego Star Wars (2005). Lost interest after that.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

don't know about this one...the gameplay of the whole series has become very childish now...look at the last Lego HP Years 5-7, so easy, no challenge at all...however, if YOU have one 3D Vision system in your PC, NOW it's soooooo different. Tell you, the Lego series in 3D is absolutely amazing. Have a try and you will know for sure with Lego Pirates and Lego HP Years 5-7.

Sweet, the first one was fun.

I wish they'd do a Lego X-Men or something.

It's cute when it's the first LEGO game you play in the series, and then it becomes way less cute. The gameplay is quite redundant and not very challenging, even if the presentation is full of good ideas, it doesn't make up for the rest, imo.

Aren't these games using strong copy protections and other such stuff?

Weird to see a clone but maybe it can be used by others to produce a working fixed exe. Smile

That seems more like a fixed mini-image and possibly something was done on the exe in order for it to recognize this but the protection is probably still at least partly active (Which I guess isn't that different from a loader or similar to bypass instead of remove.) anyway it might introduce bugs and triggers or it could work just fine, have not tried it either, 3DM is mostly just a Chinese BBS so anyone could have done those modifications thus it's hard to say how the quality is just from the release name.

Okay, I posted before saying the LEGO games were getting redundant, but this makes me wanna try the isodemo, just in case Smile DC characters on a GTA-like free roaming setting, with LEGOs ? That makes my inner child happy Very Happy

BonerUK: Is there anything funny to do with Alcohol to get it to work ? Cheers.
