LOL... I cant DL anything... (no offense with the laughing) Smile...

My Mem is Kingston FB/ECC memory, so I dont think the Memory is bad...
Ive had this problem before and seen someone else have it, but cant find the post...

I have a Dual Xeon, Quad Core, 8800 GTX, 2Gig Ram, Windows Vista EN/32...

Thanks for the help...The solution with the problem was a Protocol, but my brain is retarded at the moment and I cant remember what the solution was... Sad

Had something like that some time ago when I updated firefox. The moment I started downloading something the browser would crash. No problems with surfing. I reverted back to the older version and waited for a newer version. My current version is also not entirely bug-free (high cpu usage with flash and pages with multiple images) but that's how all software seems to go.Sad

XP ftw... I know that's said a lot around here, but it's true. Now with SP3 it is even better than Vista...

For your 0x80096010 error: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798

For your corrupted downloads I would remove outpost firewall and check if it helps.

Comodo is -imho- simply the best around since the discontinued sygate personal firewall pro. Wink
