i never got into mechwarrior... maybe it'd take a nice shiny new mechwarrior game for me to get into it... not that it matters... im sure all 3 of the games you listed are going to be console only... or atleast console primary for a year, then shittily ported to pc...

I just hope(IF there will be one) that the new mechwarrior will be cockpit view mainly and have the same nice interface etc the earlier PC version mechwarriors had.
And I wish they don't make another crappy console mech game like that one no one can remember for xbox.

Mechwarrior series is one of my favourites,I still play the old ones.Very Happy

The Mech Assault games for Xbox were very good. I never got into the Mechwarrior series. I would rather like a new Mech Assault game than a new Mechwarrior.

I always preferred mechcommander.
Though the changes they made to the later ones in the series (mechcommander 2 and mechwarrior 4) by going with slots instead of weight kind of sucked hard.

Omgeh! Hoping for a new addition to Mechwarrior Mercenaries then! I loved those the best. Hire lancemates with strengths/weaknesses and each with their own personalities , then travel the galaxy taking shady jobs for the highest bidder! It doesn't get any better.

Hopefully they bring back that sexy yet cold voice of the british bitch that was your comms officer in the latest one Very Happy

would be nice for them to release some DLC for Shadow Run
that game needs new maps and maybe some new classes and stuff

I got no proof for that but i remember having read somewhere that a lot of people involved with the Shadowrun P&P weren't too happy the way the game turned out, iirc somebody quoted Weisman but again no proof for that, sorry.
Apart from that, the game was developed by Microsoft so I'm pretty sure they won't give a damn about it.

Mechwarrior + large monitor + Sidewinder force feedback joystick = great gaming experience.

Shame my joystick doesn't work with Vista.

That's the Mechwarrior spirit! Very Happy My MS Sidewinder Force Feedback worked ok in vista ultimate, didn't even need to install any drivers.

I want to see a proper Shadrowrun RPG game done like was on the Sega Genesis or even Snes and in the spirit of the pen and paper RPG as it should be.No more of this FPS trash with the Shadowrun name tacked on to it.

It would sure be nice to see a new Mechwarrior Mercenaries done to.
