Well since the other topic he only wants posts about complete lock ups im not going to hijack his thread. Anywho...

READ THE NFO. DT Pro is needed to use the virtual IDE drive. It installs the SCSI by default so you'll need to enable the IDE one manually Note: Virtual IDE is not supported by Windows XP x64

If you don't have at least the minimum requirements, don't come here complaining about the game.

    Minimum requirements:

  • Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2, Vista (Operating System must be up to date with the latest fixes)
  • Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon 64 +2800
  • 1 GB RAM for Microsoft® Windows® XP / 1536 MB for Microsoft® Windows® Vista
  • 128 MB Video RAM or greater with DirectX9 Vertex Shader/ Pixel Shader 2.0 support (NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon 9800 or better)
  • 8.5 GB available hard drive space
  • DirectX 9.0c compliant soundcard, plus speakers or headphones
  • DVD-Rom

    Recommended requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, Vista (Operating System must be up to date with the latest fixes)
  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz or AMD X2 5600+
  • 2 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX or ATI Radeon X1950 PRO
  • 8.5 GB available hard drive space
  • DirectX 9.0c compliant soundcard, plus speakers or headphones
  • DVD-Rom

Also make sure you get the new patch 1.1 - Link

Patch Fixes:

Patch 1.1a - Link

Patch Fixes:
 Spoiler:

The following processors are out of range: AMD Duron Series, AMD Athlon XP 2400+ through 3200+, AMD Sempron 2400+ through 2800+, and the INTEL Celeron Series.

Some instance people have been experiencing system lockups when trying to mount the game or running from a mount. If this is occuring and the image is located on a raid setup, locate the file to a none RAID setup and mount from there.

Did the SCSI drivers crash or mess up during the install? Did you try uninstalling, restart, install restart?

The SCSI drive works perfectly well (installed 2 games from it). And of course I uninstalled every other DT stuff, rebooted, installed the DT-pro, did not allow it to start right away, copied the patch, applied correctly, wanted to start it, the splash screen was up saying that it's now setting up the virtual drives (it launches the Agent and adds the first SCSI v-drive), but as soon as the main program would start, the usual "error detected" window comes up (the one with the send report button).
Did this numerous times, making sure I follow every single step possible during installation and cracking, but every time it was a failure.

After numerous reinstalls I even instaled the registry cleaner program, maybe that's where the problem was, but apparently not.

The next thing I'll try is a complete win reinstall after a healthy format C: tomorrow (about time for that by now anyways). Will take a while to get everything back into order, but I hope it will worth it.

Read all over there forums and so far it doesn't seem possible. Someone said they were faster in 1.1 so maybe they'll be fixed later on. Other than that it'll be dependent on your hardware.

turn off that blur effect and pick medium on how much map you can see at one time and you get 2 sec reading times for everything Razz ,10 sec with autosave

anyway i found that longer reading times where only with the image mounted on Ide and like 17-20 sec with the dvd in my drive but with this settings i get for all 2-10 sec load times for every thing

Wow Tages is a strange protection

Ok, so does anyone know what loading times is dependant on? what piece of hardware? Also BlueSky, could you post what you're trying to say again, this time in english? Are you trying to say that with the image mounted and a random DVD in your drive that loading times is quicker?

Is the copy protection on this game particularly pesky since there has been no crack as of yet? I haven't been able to play the game as of yet due to lack of time. Just wondering since cracks usually seems to come out pretty quick.

I hear TAGES require the game being completed 100% to check for all CP checks.

Does the patch work with DTPro? I'm getting this game just test it out, and I should know whether to install the patch or not.

yeah i knew that but for those that cant use DT Pro Advanced(xp x64) thought it was worth farting around. I tried everything, tried making a VCD image and mounting on the physical drive but still no joy. have to wait for a crack as CBA installing on a diff partition just to play a game that isnt getting rave reviews.

bit the bullet and installed vista 64 on a diff partiton. now im getting an error "the application is corrupted" when i try to start DT Pro Advanced. think I found a solution online but its in Russian. have pmed Vodka-RB for help but if anyne russian here please have a go:
