Hey all!

The PC port of BG:DA is in the works and coming later this year. We're also hoping to ensure it has online co-op using Steam's remote play.

Once we have more solid information, we'll update you here!

Wait a sec. wasn’t there another thread already? Did I miss something? The latter is quite possible these days Smile

Not that I don’t appreciate the efforts though by any means. Just thought there was something already is all.

Strange its not even a remaster, i guess looking to sap up on Larians success. This was a title on playstation where someone came up with this ARPG engine and they slapped the Fallout and BG franchise names on top. Also there was a BG: Dark Alliance 2, but I think they were virtually the same

I've always disliked the way the industry sell things by name alone, but it works so I guess I'm wrong. Anyway why not just emulate ps2 and play it that way?

It's Herve Caen the old Interplay CEO. He's always at it trying to find a quick cash grab.

There is a reason why he's hated by Brian Fargo, Feargus Urquhart and pretty much everyone who used to work for Black Isle or for Interplay back in the day.

There will probably be very little functional difference in the PC port over playing the original with PCSX2.

I thought so myself, but did a quick search and checked the last couple of pages and didn't find anything.

And since the tweet was from yesterday, I decided to create the thread.

I'm not familiar with Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance and I didn't know what the game was.

I just saw the tweet yesterday and decide to create this thread, because I didn't see any regaring BG:DA, if it's a duplicate, someone feel free to remove it, my bad.

I thought so as well and that is where I initially looked since I had been keeping an eye on it. Ah well. No harm. Appreciate the info from Ke1n.

Aaaaah, it's in the article:

Wizards of the Coast also has an all-new addition to the series coming this summer: Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is set to launch on PC and consoles on June 22.

But the trailer is for the BG:DA. And the tweet too. But the other thread also has this trailer. My head exploding. Reaction

First one is still priced at $42AUD (21 year old game) with no major discount, ever. I'm guessing this will be the same.

So damn greedy.

The cracking scene is so barren these days with near every group extinct that even an unprotected game like this one gets released on GOG today and there's nobody to make a scene release with it

Never played these back in the day. Tried the first game and thought it was fun but rather shit. Guess i didn't get the nostalgia. Difficulty was surprising too.

It's BS price, but practically, most people will buy either by sale or cheap cdkey price.

There are no cheap cd keys, there hasn't been a cheap CD key for the first Dark Alliance in over 7 months

The biggest 'sale' was a 20% discount that I saw once in that same timeframe

20+ year old game/s with no new major features or anything. Pathetic
