P.S. And please, let's not turn this into a discussion of how good Equilibrium was and what a disaster Ultraviolet turned out to be.

Sounds good, I liked equilibrium!

Edit:

Ultraviolet was a disaster! TBH - I don't think i minded UV however, I wouldn't watch it again.

Ultraviolet was great , but those friking censors deleted the dracula scene and all vampire themes , you can still see the vampire themes in the un-rated version , lest hope the directors cut will see the the light of the day those deleted scenes where awesome

I actually forgot ....watched EQ in HD recently and then was like 'this movie/director are awesome .. wonder what he did next!" .... and then it was the ultraviolet crapfest.

doesn't matter, he probably got studio-raped anyways with UV .... here is his chance ... if it sucks he should stop ASAP. He wrote 'Street Kings' btw which a lot of us are looking forward to .. hopefully if that's good, this will be too...

I don't think UV would have been much better even if it hadn't been edited to pieces. Hopefully after that disaster he'll be grounded enough to be a bit more critical with his next production.

The thought of Gun Kata style CQC battles between Snake and The Boss or any other character for that matter has already sold me on this movie. The final fight in Equilibrium is easily the most intense gun battle I've ever seen.

Sry, too late my not-so-distant neighbour Laughing Like Raiden said in MK1 : "It has begun!" Very Happy

Anyway the news, if came true, would be really awesome. I hope MGS turns out good, and so does the new Mad Max (my fav trilogy, hope they don't fuck it up).

Mad Max 4 can't be good because Gibson's not in it.

I don't think it's possible to compress all the important aspects of the Metal gear world in just one movie. Hope the director won't be stupid and wouldn't try to hit as many targets as possible and eventually won't succeed in nothing... He will have to concetrate only on few chosen things.

The Film is called Metal gear: Solid, so it should only cover the first game. I think thats manageable.

History taught us that all depends on the creators and not actual game story. So many game transferred to movies were fucked cause of the story. Anyway, if Kojima has any involvement at least in case they make a new story it would be good. So anyone know if Kojima is actually participating in this?
