Wow, that must have been going shit for EA to cancel it rather than release it anyway and cash in on the name. First i've heard about a C&C FPS anyway, looks like it would of had fail written all over it.

Yeah. Hopefully someone will at least pick up some of the stuff they have worked out, like the engine, and make Renegade 2!

I did, though unfortunately it was altered to a more newish design than westwood originally created (more true to the C&C designs) but it was enjoyable both in Singleplayer and especially in Multiplayer it simply kicked ass.
