My friend will give me his swap magic kit and was wondering if the PS2 was region lock or i can play PAL backups on a NTSC Slim PS2.

Think it's only region locked for dvd movies. My chipped ps2 back in the days could play anything... Don't know about the swap magic thing :< google it

i can play ntsc backups on my slim pal ps2 with swap magic discs, so i would think youd be able to play pal games on a slim ntsc ps2 The night is dark and the road is long. Come on dead men, return to your homes.
