Description:

Section 8 is an intense first-person shooter that gives players unprecedented strategic control over the battlefield, employing tactical assets and on-demand vehicle deliveries to dynamically alter the flow of combat. Set at the crossroads of a growing insurrection among its colonies, Earth dispatches the elite 8th Armored Infantry to turn the tide. Utilizing advanced powered armor suits, these brave volunteers are the only ones crazy enough to smash through enemy defenses and drop directly into the battlefield from 15,000 feet, earning them the nickname Section 8.

Demo is multiplayer. There's only one small map in it though :/

Edit: Holy fucking shit. Just played my first game, was like a constant fps of 10. POS 360.

I had good FPS but had no idea what to do and didn't feel like figuring it all out right now
10 minute gameplay impression: bland.

Yeah, FPS were fine here too. Didn't enjoy it that much though, almost every game I joined had both the bases under enemy control and getting raped by the combined fire of the enemy players and their turrets repeatedly wasn't much fun.

A tip though, hold down the sprint button (left stick) for a few seconds and you go into 'hyper' mode, makes getting around the map much easier.

I know why I was getting such horrible fps. I was hosting. The host gets horrible fps, and everyone else in the game starts lagging. I've played 3 matches on 360, 2 of them I was hosting. If I'm not hosting, I have a horrible ping instead.

They need to fix this before release.

no frame rate issues for me. Game is very pretty, nice weapons. jury out on gameplay at the moment. The drop into map sia bit of a gimmck, just an animated spawn point really.

could be good, could be bad, time will tell.

No advertising.

Agree'd..your 360 must be one POS because on my 360 ..game runs just fine

From what i can tell..its not too great, not terrible but not great

nah, its much more like quake, unreal tournament etc. And you can press a button to run really fast Rolling Eyes

Played the demo, it took about 5 minutes to convince me not to waste any more time on this game. Not that it's utter crap, I don't know that, but it's definitely not my kind of game. Pass!

What is it with these bozo's?
When will they realize the FPS in its current form is dead as a dodo.
Gaming used to be good but I haven't seen anything except Demon Soul's, Dead Space, Condemned I&II and Arkham where the developers even BOTHER to make an effort!
They think we are total idiots to keep on buying this boring, vanilla shite.

I mean it has to be be bad when people don't even download this nonsense for free!
