That's not all. You are now also able to pick a redneck female driver as your player.
Also, they redid the sky and some of the land textures (though they still look like shit)
They added school buses and firetrucks on the roadways as well.

What is the point of this fucking game if there is no AI competition?

I don't see one new feature in this release except the fact that the traitorous North American Union is now complete and modeled in the game.Rig N Roll whenever and if ever it comes out will stop the boredom and thankfully add a story to the mix.

Hopefully it will be better, yes.

I'd love if "Euro Truck Simulator" will be good too, but if I'm right, it wont.. since its made by scs, so its probably just haulin with euro trucks and map.

Yeah I agree with you.It would be nice to drive somewhere else then the USA to.Been there done that.The last 3 18WOS games which includes this one are basically the same thing.

Although I have no desire to upgrade from Hauling at this time due to the lack of mod support with ALH at this time, I noticed a release floating around called "18.Wheels.of.Steel.American.Long.Haul-ice187" ... Anyone know if its a fake or not?

My fucking Advance Time button doesn't seem to work as sleep anymore.

In Haulin' I could just stop dead in the middle of the highway, neglect to turn on my 4 way flashers or even use the parking break, advance time 8 hours and get rid of the "drowsy" black-screen.
Now, it seems the only way to rest is via hotel.

Anyone else have this problem? Er maybe its because I started on hard instead of medium? Either way, such a pointless game, but there is absolutely jack shit else to play right now - its gotten so bad I've resorted to this Sad

I was in the mood to play a "sim". I tried to buy Lock On: Flaming Cliffs, but Eagle Dynamics resorted to using some queer UK Payment system ProtX, which promptly told my American Visa to fuck off. Thus, I queued up Flight Simulator 10 + Xpack (13 gigs) and needed something to do in the meantime.

In hard mode you got a truck with no sleeper.
You need a truck with a bed in the back to sleep.
Or do it the easy way, set fatigue to 0 in the config file.. no more sleep Wink

Id like to see that USA3 Map for haulin converted to ALH...

But alot of the modders are ticked off that ALH was released as a game instead of an upgrade patch since its basically Haulin with two new trucks and mexico complimented with a few bug fixes... Alot of them are boycotting thier mods being used on ALH.. Rolling Eyes
