Well my main point was about the 256bit part as it isn't mentioned on any other of these graphic cards.

It's the memory interface, not very relevant, as all the 8800GT cards I see on newegg are the same, regardless of other specifications.
But if you want some additional details, google for it, as I'm not the technical expert around here.

All's they said was it was fine minus the fact that it will be delivered in 3-5 weeks.
Plus no mention of warranty.

Ah, great, thanks for telling me something I already knew and didn't care about.

I don't think I will ever order anything with such a long shipping time. Maximum ought to be two weeks.
And what's palit? I never heard of them. Anything wrong with the better brands like EVGA and BFG?

Palit I believe is more of a european brand, as well as inno3d or whatever they're called. You don't see those brands in the states, ever. EVGA, BFG and XFX are by far the best around but most their warranty's are restrected to north america most of the time. I think EVGA's stepup program is US only as well.
Best thing about EVGA and XFX is their wararnty allows you to rip off their OEM heatsink and use an aftermarket one as long as you don't damage the card during the process. I know for a fact XFX lets you overclock your card and if it fries they don't care, I think EVGA does as well.

^ step-up program. Also eVGA will replace your card with a brand new one while -e.g.- BFG will send you one that is refurbished.
