Sounds like a classic "Pixel Error/Dead Pixel" normally there is a warranty for that stuff, but...I think you need more then one pixel to get a new screen from Samsung.
Quote:
Their official policy is to conform to the ISO 13406-2 standard.

This does not mean they have a zero dead pixel policy. What the standards say (for "Class II" panels) regarding different types of pixel malfunction and different screen sizes is below.

Native Resolution : Allowable Defects

Malfunctioning Pixels
1024x768 : 2
1280x1024 : 3
1600x1200 : 4
2048x 1536: 6

Malfunctioning Sub-Pixels
1024x768 : 4
1280x1024 : 7
1600x1200 : 10
2048x 1536: 16

Malfunctioning Sub-Pixels (Within 5 Pixel x 5 Pixel Area)
1024x768 : 2
1280x1024 : 3
1600x1200 : 4
2048x 1536: 6

Also read this...ok its a bit old but...

Or simply go back to the shop you bought in and ask!

There is no fix for a dead pixel as far as i know. Had 2-3 on my 19" samsung.

I had one on my screen and I fixed it by turning the screen on and opening windows paint and making the screen black so I could see it better and then using a smooth end cap off of a sharpie marker and rubbing the dot while pushing hard on it. but be careful not to push to hard or you will damage the screen.
