Check it out....WHAM!

Appearances must be important to you if you're thinking about snagging one of these jewels, because it'll cost you $1199, a far cry from the $300 price of Dell's other 22" 1680x1050 LCDs, which display lower contrast and fewer colors. But then, buyers of this limited-edition monitor aren't going to be bargain hunters, anyway

SURCE:LINK
Oh well, for that price one would get a 27"...at least! "DELL 27" Ultra Sharp 1.108,78 €

Looks like a normal monitor to me, with a sheet of glass slapped on the front.

Heathen!...its a piece of art...DESIGNER ART!
If it was priced at half as to what it is I might consider it, but 1100$ No way!
And yea it is a monitor with a pice of glas etc...but still looks very good, at least to me. I like the integrated buttons and that the cables show etc.

Look a bog standard monitor with something for the window cleaner.

Oh nearly forgot. I wouldn't fancy cleaning that with the exposed speakers. Which wll probably sound awful. And little kiddies fingers. A nightmare to behold.

Still like it ...should we have a vote? Smile...na, but seriously, I like stupid designer stuff like this. Actually really good design is also functional, this is not really. Normally I would call it styling (pure shape with no consideration to function). But sometimes an object can be beautiful...just like that.

Too much glass imo, but it looks kinda nice. I would be very nervous near it, if it would broke or anything... Very Happy

Would look sexier without the speakers imo. They look more like oversized thingies to hold the glass on..

Dell seem to overcharge for their monitors too, even if they are amongst the best nowadays..

Some people house their computers in less then private places. There are plenty of families who have a PC sitting in the living room, you furnish the room to be attractive to guests the same thing applies to this monitor. It's a decoration.

I wouldn't want a ugly ass monitor in a exposed room with lots of traffic. It's like having neon green couches and no gay guy to re-decorate.
