I have downloaded this big game and copied the files to both dvds using nero6. Not sure if I had todo anything special here its my first dvd game ive downloaded, I just copied the unrared files over to each dvd and closed the session.
I installed the game (full install) then copied the crack to the bin folder replacing the original exe. When I goto play the game I get a message that I have to put in the 2nd dvd into my dvd drive but its in there and nothing works just keeps asking for the dvd. Has anybody eles had this problem or maybe someone with knowlege on what I need todo when coping the files to dvd or better still if someone knows of a nocd crack.
i'm assuming since you had the iso files burned directly to the dvd that you mounted to install. if that is the case are you sure that dvd2 is still mounted when you go to play the game? I would suggest burning the isos with dvd decrypter or some other burning software instead of just putting the isos on and mounting. hope that helps.
Umm Esel_Gesi Iam a bit lost there about the wording mounted what I have done is burn the files to a blank dvd then installed the game using the dvds in the dvd drive and then tried to run the game with the dvd in the dvd drive. I did at one go did an image of the files using nero then mounted the image wirh deamon tools and tried to rnr the game from there still no go. Just wondering what software to use to burn the files from the iso as iam used to bin cue files and just burn the image that way in the case of Myst 4 after u unrar the files u end up with the files that have to be copied straight to the dvds and no info as to what to name the dvd or weather u need special settings. Man iam a bit stumped on this one and so looking foward to playing it.
im sure there are many programs you can use to burn the images to dvds. i personally burn dvd images using DVD Decrypter (found here http://www.dvddecrypter.com/index.php?act=download ) fire that baby up and click mode and go down to ISO > Write. Then browse for the iso file you want to burn, select burning speed, etc and burn that puppy. You should then have yourself 2 nicely burned images similar to what result you would have by burning a bin and cue image. hope this clears things up.
Man iam a Dick faredinkim I have been unraring the 50 meg files yes I know thats right but then when ive had the big rar file left I have been unraring it as well then burning the files to a dvd instead of burning the iso file.
