Thought I'd give the other hardware freaks a heads-up since most stores and sites aren't really forthcoming with release/shipping dates for the new processors, either to clear their inventory of the old stuff or just cuz they dont know...

Anyways the dude from Tankguys.com is and I already placed an order for an e8400, which just happens to be shipping first and is just perfect price/perf for me Very Happy

So get 'em while theyre hot or something Razz

there is one shop here which is selling em for 2 days already... (well - "here" means 200 km away)
people say the 8400/500 has its limit between 4200 and 4500 mhz (on air). you`ll need good ram to reach these clocks.
