should i get a dvd+r9 for this 1???
i mean does anybody have a clue if this will fit on a normal dvd-r 4,7 gb???
or 8,5 gb???

dont worry malic, they will make it fit without ripping stuff even if its on a dvd9 disc.
but i highly doubt this game will come on a dvd9 disc. you wont see any cg movies like in a final fantasy game, graphics are average, no speech etc etc so its very unlikley.

Or you can install it on a the HDD via putting the ps2 hdd into the PC and installing it like that and later just load it of hlodaer on a mem card : )

Well considering the setting, rap seems most appropriate. Do you think people in the hood go around listening to Garth Brooks or Led Zepplin?
Not to mention I saw a couple of rock tracks in there like Teen Spirit off hand.

it sure is dryan.
rap is the worse music out there and the whole gangsta life style isnt something im looking forward to play with in this gta game.
it will still be a kick ass game but it had been alot better with something else than gangsta.
mafia style like in the other gta games is fun but gangsta is just..bleh.

I love the old style mafia, like during the prohibition era, I thought the game was great. Hopefully they make a sequel, I prefer it's realistic style to GTA's cartoon style.

so it is dvd9, then im sure its not a full dvd9 disc. its most likley to be more on the safe side from all copying 
but regardless of what, it will be released as dvd5. |
Well the game is going to be much bigger than the other GTA games. It's like 2x bigger, better textures, more things to do, etc. I think it could fill up a DVD9. Probably not all the way like like Xenosaga or something but a lot of it.

hardly dude, textures are way too low quality to take up that much space.
face it, gta's graphics are nothing great at all, they are in fact quite bad compared to todays standards
it will be bigger but im not so sure about the 2x bigger size.
i remember vice city, they said the same thing about that, that it would be much bigger than gta3 but it wasnt even bigger, its was about the same size
so i take those words with a grain of salt as we say in sweden (maybe somewhere else too, i dunno)

Are you really just trying to say you dont want to play as a black guy? I mean...just say it...dont hide behind "rap"...
I'm not a fan of the "urban" culture myself, but there are only so many "big" types of gangs out there....and I dont think gamers would like to play as a Yakuza member, or a russion mafia member....and they've done all they can do with the "Italian mobster" setting....so what do you want from them? I think it's a good idea, I dont like that the "urban" movement frowns on knowledge and praises ignorance, I think that has really destroyed my people (yes, I'm black), but if you think about it....what else does Rockstar have to work with? "urban" is popular...most of us playing the game actually lived through the 90's and experienced a lot of the stuff in this game...so it's very neat (in my opinion) that they're doing it a bit closer to home.
And if you aren't a fan of the "urban" you must not be playing ANY of EA's games.
